Oak Ridge, TN – Today, Rick Scarbrough, candidate for State Representative announces a coalition of Veterans supporting his campaign for State Representative. The coalition features veterans from across Anderson County who are united to keep our communities safe and share in service and vision for Scarbrough as our next State Representative.

“I am honored to receive the support of these distinguished leaders of men and women who have sacrificed so much for our state and nation.” Scarbrough said. “They have earned the right to be represented by somebody who will listen to their needs and fight for them in Nashville.”

Scarbrough has been the Executive Director of the University of Tennessee’s Law Enforcement Innovation Center since January 1, 2018. Prior to joining the University, he served 23 years with the Clinton Police Department, spending the last 16 years as police chief. His law enforcement career began with six years at the Anderson County Sheriff’s Department. He and his wife Mollie have been married for 32 years and have two children and three grandchildren.
